Silly me for thinking that, I know. Anyway, I’ve read that you can put a magnet right in front of your vacuum cleaner to prevent small paper clips from being sucked by the cleaner. But I don’t think that tip is suitable to your case since yours was stuck with a rubber cat ball! Wow! It’s a good thing your vacuum cleaner didn’t acquire a more serious problem.
